Yes, but there's a catch:

SPOILER SPACE AHOY!
































It's more of a Queen For A Day thing. They aren't really being
promoted to attendings. The Attendings will be competing against each
other for a $1 million research grant, which means they'll be
preoccupied with that, so Meredith and the rest of the Kids get to be
*acting* attendings for the day.

Something tells me that Avery will run into something he's never seen
before in a Cardio case, something that is old hat for Cristina and
*that's* when Cristina pushes through her PTSD to go into the
operating room again.
