Just finished the first episode of S13, it's where Alex beat the hell out
of Deluca because he thought he was raping Jo.

But the one thing I didn't hear was, "Jo was drunk, she was in her bra and
panties, and I walked in on Deluca on top of her, and it looked to me like
he was trying to rape her. So I did what I had to do to protect her."

Maybe he said it off camera.

No matter what he thought he clearly went far beyond protecting her.

No matter what he thought he clearly went far beyond protecting her.
I guess that is what is called "Being In the Moment."
